How to Delete Your Account
You can delete your Remnant Space account directly from the mobile app by following these steps:
- 1 Open the Remnant Space app on your mobile device
- 2 Navigate to Settings from the profile menu
- 3 Scroll down to find the "Delete Account" option
- 4 Tap "Delete Account" to proceed
- 5 Read the warning carefully about what will be deleted
- 6 Optionally provide a reason for leaving (helps us improve)
- 7 Check the confirmation box to acknowledge the action is permanent
- 8 Tap "Delete My Account Permanently" to complete the process
What Gets Deleted
The following data will be permanently removed:
- Profile Information: Your name, email address, bio, and profile picture
- Content: All uploaded videos, live streams, and media files
- Playlists: All playlists you created and saved content
- Interactions: Your comments, likes, and reactions
- Subscriptions: Your subscription list and followers
- Account Credentials: Your login information and authentication tokens
- Preferences: App settings, theme preferences, and notification settings
- Chat History: All live chat messages and conversations
What We Keep
For legal, security, and operational purposes, we may retain certain information:
- Transaction Records: If you made any purchases or payments (required by law)
- Abuse Reports: Records of reported violations or moderation actions
- Legal Compliance: Data required to be retained by applicable laws and regulations
- Aggregated Analytics: Anonymized, non-identifiable usage statistics
Data Retention Period
Timeline for Data Deletion
- Immediate: Your account is deactivated and you can no longer log in
- Within 24 hours: Your profile and public content become inaccessible to other users
- Within 30 days: Most personal data is permanently deleted from our active servers
- Up to 90 days: Data may remain in backup systems before complete removal
- Legal retention: Some data retained as required by law (typically 1-7 years depending on jurisdiction)
Before You Delete
Please consider the following before deleting your account:
- Download Your Data: You can request a copy of your data before deletion by contacting support
- Cancel Subscriptions: Make sure to cancel any active subscriptions or memberships
- Save Important Content: Download any videos, playlists, or content you want to keep
- Alternative Options: Consider temporarily deactivating your account instead of permanent deletion (contact support)
Alternative: Request Data Deletion Without Account Deletion
Currently, Remnant Space requires full account deletion to remove your personal data. We do not offer selective data deletion while keeping your account active.

Reactivation Policy
Once your account is deleted, it cannot be recovered. If you wish to use Remnant Space again, you will need to create a new account with a different email address.
